| 1. Appointment Procedures
i. The appointee will be provided with an installation time and date by the REDtone engineer/s;
ii. The appointee will subsequently inform the building management of the appointed time and date of the installation;
iii. The REDtone engineer/s will then proceed to verify the appointed time and date with the building management prior to the actual on-site appointment;
iv. The REDtone engineer/s will contact the appointee upon confirmation of the appointment with the building management and reaching the appointee's building premises;
v. The appointee will proceed to meet the REDtone engineer/s at the lobby area before proceeding to the appointee's living quarters; and
vi. The REDtone engineer/s reserves the right to temporarily disable the appointee's Internet connection in the event that the appointee does not honor their appointment times. A service charge of RM 50 will be incurred to reconnect the appointee's Internet connection.
2. Troubleshooting Procedure
The CNX engineer/s will provide a diagnostics of the appointee's problems via the CNX laptop
i. Should the CNX engineer/s be able to access the Internet successfully, a minimum on-site charge of RM 30 will be immediately charged to the appointee.
ii. CNX is then not responsible to ensure whether your computer can be used to access the internet. Should the student require CNX service to diagnose their pc, please refer to point (iv)
iii. Should the CNX engineer/s be unable to access the Internet, the matter will be resolved free of charge for the appointee;
iv. Should additional equipment be required by the appointee to resolve the Internet accessibility issue, i.e. Network Card, Wireless Access Cards and etc an additional peripheral charge will be incurred. The table below briefly illustrates the common peripheral and their related charges (Please note that the list is not exhaustive):
A. Network Cards (For PCs only) – RM 30;
v. Please note that the CNX engineer/s shall have no liability whatsoever for any damage to or loss or destruction of any of the appointee's equipment, software, files, data or peripherals;
vi. Please note that the CNX engineer/s are not responsible for any forms of hardware purchase on behalf of the appointee;
vii. All payments due to the CNX engineer/s shall be immediately settled in cash and has to be paid before work is conducted. A receipt of proof of payment shall be issued to the appointee; and
viii. Any amount owing to the CNX engineer/s may result in the appointee's Internet access being disabled.
